Director of Strategic Sourcing

Job Duties Ensures procurement, warehouse and logistics strategy are aligned with business objectives; collaborates with Warehouse and Procurement Department to facilitate improvements.
Works cross-functionally across the organization, collaborating with finance, marketing, engineering, development and executive departments.
Manages supply chain and strategic sourcing initiatives.
Implements best practices for inventory management.
Tracks product usage and history to ensure appropriate reorder points.
Manages global procurement function, overseeing category management inventory management, performance management and business controls, including supplier selection, management and reporting.
Develops process improvement programs for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
Responsible for organizational design, recruiting and talent management of the procurement and warehouse employees.
Job Requirements / Qualifications Five (5) years' experience in procurement and purchasing role with management responsibility.
Additional experience with warehousing and logistics preferred.
Ability to adapt and recognize market trends in purchasing.
Successful experience in developing and implementing effective business strategies involving multiple departments within the organization.
Must be a strategic thinker, fiscally responsible and possess strong business judgment with the proven ability to use influence and drive team environment.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
