City (Pickup and Delivery) Driver - Nebraska Transport Company (Grand Island, NE)
Daily Able to work a flexible schedule/shift including days, evenings, nights and weekends involving multiple stops.
Prepare, load/unload and secure freight for safe delivery on/off trailers to customers in an efficient, friendly manner.
Safely operate Tractor/Trailer combination vehicle and maintain equipment according to NTC standards.
Adhere to all NTC core values.
Knowledge and Skills:
Requires basic knowledge of office machines (copier, fax, and computer), freight dock and delivery procedures, and truck operation.
Requires the ability to cooperate and work closely with management, co-workers and customers.
Requires Class A CDL, 2 years verifiable driving experience, and Hazmat endorsement, with the ability to lift 100 pounds.
Working Conditions:
Working conditions are consistent with normal freight dock and delivery environment, including working/driving in inclement weather.
