APRN - Psychiatry - The Physician Network (Kearney, NE)

Richard Young Outpatient Clinic is located within Richard Young Hospital; a dedicated psychiatry facility with adult and adolescent inpatient units.
Function as a clinician and must have a current collaborative agreement with at least one of the active on-staff psychiatrists.
License/Certification:
1.
Licensed in the State of Nebraska as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.

Certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
Essential Duties:

Initial evaluations in the outpatient clinic.
An initial intake evaluation will include at a minimum:
Demographic information Chief complaint Precipitating event History of Chief Complaint Treatment history (including therapy and medications) Medical history (including substance use) Allergies Family history Psychosocial/Developmental history Mental status exam Integration of assessment data into a Medical Diagnosis (DSM-IV-TR) Formulate treatment plan.

Documentation a) Treatment planning in the outpatient clinic is initially documented and reviewed/revised according to clinic policy.
Date Length of Session (psychotherapy) Diagnosis:
Axis I-V Subjective/Objective Data and Significant History (include Mental Status Exam) Assessment/Clinical Impressions Interventions (therapy) Medications:
Medication Management Response to Interventions/Medication Progress toward goals/outcomes Patient's understanding or involvement in the treatment plan Signatures.

The Nurse Practitioner determines billing codes for each clinical service based on CPT Code definitions.
Documentation must support the code selected for billing.
Coding and documentation are audited until the established QI standards are met by each practitioner.

Demonstrate the ability to be an intricate part of the health care team.

Assist with periodic inservices for network technicians, nurses, and other clinic personnel.

Maintain professional demeanor at all times.
13.
Attend and participate in staff meetings.
15.
Read and comply with all policies and procedures and personnel policies as stated.
16.
Understand and demonstrate compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited program for Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner.
Experience:
1 year experience preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
